Tijdens mijn laatste fase in mijn training ben ik in contact gekomen met V1. Ik besloot de volledige ASP-Classroom cursus te volgen, gegeven door Bob. Het was een intensieve dag met vele interactieve oefeningen waar je alle tips & tricks meekreeg om je alvast voor te bereiden voor je komende selecties. Wat V1 onderscheidt, is hun persoonlijke aanpak. Ook na de cursus houden ze actief contact met jou en geven ze steeds updates over de luchtvaart. Ze begeleiden je bij elke fase van je selectieproces en hebben een sterke focus op jou werkpunten. De samenwerking met V1 heeft ervoor gezord dat ik slechts 2 maanden na afstuderen ben aangenomen voor mijn eerste job als First Officer op de B737.
The course is really well prepared and structured. They gave me a lot of insider tricks that I would never have thought about but which helped me to pass the selections in different airlines. The group exercise was according to me a really valuable part as I didn't know much about it before coming to the course, but thanks to their tricks it went well during the selection and I knew beforehand what airlines generally expect in this kind of situation

Bob & Miguel weten ook waar ze over spreken en doordat zij ook andere kandidaten coachen zijn ze op de hoogte van de laatste ins en outs, do's en dont's. Een groot voordeel vond ik dat, in tegenstelling tot andere aanbieders, dit een 'totaalpakket' is i.p.v. een éénmalige en '12 in een dozijn'-cursus.
Na het afstuderen als piloot kwam ik in contact met V1. Sindsdien hebben ze mij op een zeer persoonlijke en betrokken manier begeleid. Vanaf het eerste moment namen ze de tijd om mij op te volgen en te ondersteunen tot ik mijn eerste job had gevonden. I was called for a selection relatively short notice in 2022 for my first Airline and reached out to V1 to assist me. Their was not only very flexible, he also immediately digged very deep into that airline in order to give the best coaching possible. Because of his help I felt very confident during my assesment, and not long after I finished it, I received the wonderful news that I landed my first flying job.
Being graduated as a fresh pilot, there are a lot of unknowns about the next steps taking you to the right hand seat. V1 took the opportunity to guide me through every single step of the application process as so I could prepare well for any opportunity and give me tips and tricks how to excel better than someone else. Got in contact with Miguel at V1 after I got invited for my first airline assessment. Received an answer pretty fast and we managed to adjust the coaching based on my busy work schedule. Long story short: the assessment went really smooth and without any problems so I got hired by the LHG and I’ll start my type rating on the A320 next month!

The Cadet Selection Program is specifically designed for future pilots preparing to enter an integrated or modular training (cadet) program at a European flight school like CAE, KLMFA, EPST, EPC, EFA, SFT and many more. At the end of the course, you will have a clear understanding of the selection process, gain confidence, structure, and a realistic preparation strategy. With this course, we prepare you for the start of your flying career.

Miguel his broad experience provides a unique, well-rounded perspective on pilot training and career development. He has a strong interest in psychology, communication and public speaking.
Bob Geuens is a First Officer B737 for a major European airline with a strong interest in psychology and communication. Bob is known as a true confidence builder, providing candidates with the support they need to excel at every stage of the airline assessment. He is highly passionate about the aviation industry and would love to help you become part of it.
